The Facility Manager will be responsible for the maintenance, safety and management tasks to promote a clean and safe working environment for the building’s employee population
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Delegates cleaning and maintenance tasks to team members
- Monitors the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, and snack/coffee bar in collaboration with on-site Exyte US Safety Professionals
- Performs routine maintenance on facilities and making repairs as needed in collaboration with Exyte US’ client
- Schedules routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors in collaboration with on-site Exyte Procurement
- Ensures proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with security system vendors or a team of security professionals
- Maintains day-to-day operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenance orders
- Creates reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff
- Prepares facilities for changing weather conditions
- Collaborates with building owners and upper management on budgeting for facilities need
- Works with EHS (safety) to carry out risk assessments and implement and enforce health and safety procedures to reduce the risks of workplace hazards
- Other duties as assigned
