Discover your exciting roleThe Senior Architect is responsible for working with multiple stakeholders and guide the architectural team during the design/construction process. The Senior Architect will have three main customers: the Client, Discipline Design Leads, and Exyte Management team. Will interface daily primarily with internal stakeholders, including but not limited to: Project Management Team, Architects, Design Leads, QA/QC Manager, and the Architectural Discipline Lead.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities- Trains and develops Architectural Designers in all processes/procedures/standards
- Coordinates, guides, and oversees the team to achieve the correct technical solutions to difficult design and client problems
- Reviews architectural drawings for completeness, constructability, and coordination*Collaborates with design and technical teams while supporting or leading the development of design deliverables from studies to Construction Documents, including drawings and specifications
- Maintains primary accountability for all architectural designs, sharing design responsibility
- Mentors Interns and junior members of project teams
- Participates in the development of office standards and procedures
- Other duties as assigned

- Demonstrable proficiency with Autodesk Building Systems Software
- Adept at interfacing with and aligning multiple stakeholders with diplomacy
- Exhibit a professional demeanour and be a proactive problem solver
- Ability to manage 5 staff
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture required
- Master's in Architecture preferred
- Architectural License(AIA) required
- LEED AP with Specialty or GA (Green Associate) preferred
- Nation Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) Certificate preferred
- 14 years of experience
