The opportunity
Lead the effort to improve the Employee Experiences for EY’s people using Human Centered Design with data driven research serving as the foundation for decision making. Create delight for the things people “have to do”, free up their time so they can do what they came to EY for: bring the best they – and EY – has to offer to their clients.
Your key responsibilities
Accountable for understanding business requirements and balancing with employee needs to develop user centric experiences- Coordinates across products, services, and investments in pursuit of surprising delight for a defined employee experience (or group of related experiences)
- Evangelizes the importance of Employee Experience across Product Managers and their teams to build a common understanding of its importance to EY’s success
- Guides a team of research, design and analytics specialists accountable for the experience
- Works closely with Info Sec, Risk and other teams to ensure a balanced approach is taken in terms of experience and risk
- Utilizes provided research and telemetry to gain empathy and understand experiences through the eyes of different employees and supportive actors
- Fully understands what the employees need and why they need it
- Communicates effectively with business leaders about the employee experience challenges and opportunities
- Can positively influence the team members that contribute to the improvement of the experience
- Responsible for gaining alignment of key performance measures for the experience and ensuring that the experience is continually monitored, studied, and improved
- Understands how industry trends impact the employee experience be it technology, generational trends, changes to our business and societal shifts
- Provide strong input in the selection and roadmaps of products and services that support the experience
- Maintains and builds active relationship with key technology vendors in close alignment with the Product Managers and Vendor Management.
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role you must have
Bachelor degree, 10 years of product and service management experience, preferably complex portfolios that have direct end user experience impacts- History of working credibly with senior stakeholders and business executives
- Outstanding verbal and written skills including proficient storytelling and the ability to effectively communicate
- Excellent relationship building, facilitation and influencing skills
Ideally, you’ll also have
Proven experience working with people in a variety of cultures, countries and time zones- Has experience using research data to drive decision making and improve products and services
- Ability to synthesize information and distil data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations
- Attention to detail; ability to ensure accuracy and professional documentation
- Organization and project management; ability to manage and guide the prioritization of multiple projects at once
