Optician

```Duties```
- Assist customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses
- Take accurate measurements of customers' eyes and facial features
- Provide recommendations on lens options, frames, and lens coatings based on customers' needs and preferences
- Adjust and repair eyewear as needed
- Educate customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance
- Process orders and manage inventory of eyewear and contact lenses
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in eyewear fashion

```Requirements```
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, particularly the eye and visual system
- Familiarity with optical systems and equipment
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, such as Epic, for patient documentation
- Ability to take accurate vital signs, such as visual acuity measurements
- Knowledge of medical billing processes for insurance claims related to eyewear purchases
- Previous experience in retail management is beneficial
