Eyelation, a Chicago based safety benefits management company, is seeking a bookkeeper to join the accounting department.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
· Manage full cycle accounting
· Payroll and corresponding deductions
· Bank management and general ledger reconciliations
· Maintain and balance general ledger and journal entries
· Manage AR including collections, employee co-payments, customer relations
· Manage AP including bill payments, bank receipts and supplier relations
· Produce invoices and manage the AR ledger
· Pay vendor invoices and track bank account balances
· Prepare trial balances and other financial reports
· Coordinate bank deposits and report financial results
· Perform month-end closings
· Monthly Government filings
· Assist in the preparation of quarterly and monthly tax returns, along with payroll, operating and business taxes
· 401(K) management
Requirements:
· A minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field
· Knowledge of Payroll preparation
· Working experience with QuickBooks
· Comfortable with Microsoft Excel and Google sheets
· Ability to prioritize and multitask
· Strong organizational skills
· Deadline and detail oriented
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
