About the IT Support Specialist Position
Ezoic is seeking an internal IT Support Specialist for our company headquarters in Carlsbad, CA. The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading our office computers and networks and fixing issues for a fast-growing company. The role entails providing support via phone, web, email, chat, and other channels, supporting Windows 10 and 11, Mac OSX, Linux desktops and laptops, and local office networking.
Responsibilities
- Procure, configure, and deploy employee workstations.
- Manage asset inventory and assignment.
- Provision services, create new employee accounts, and address related services issues.
- Respond to and resolve internal office service issues and requests using our ticketing system.
- Repair or replace office equipment as necessary, including coordinating with vendors.
- Provide technical support across the company, in person, via phone, chat, or video.
Role Requirements
- Entry level or one to two years of experience with Windows, OSX, and Linux environments.
- Excellent organizational and technical problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to effectively communicate technical issues and solutions with both technical and non-technical people.
- Basic networking knowledge, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, and Wireless.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds for tasks which may include lifting desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and other IT-related equipment.
Desired Skills
- Basic understanding of PowerShell and its use cases.
- Basic understanding of WSL and its applications.
- Fundamental knowledge of Docker Desktop, Bash, AWS, GitHub, and Cisco Meraki.
*Please note the IT Support Specialist is required to be on-site at our Carlsbad, CA headquarters since this role provides hands-on technical support to all employees and the office.
