IT Data Warehouse IT Specialist

Responsibility:

  • Manage and maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets stored in the warehouse.
  • Coordinate the procurement and receiving process for new IT assets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational requirements.
  • Design and implement efficient storage systems for IT assets, optimizing space utilization and accessibility.
  • Facilitate the deployment and retrieval of IT assets according to predefined procedures and schedules.
  • Schedule and oversee routine maintenance activities to ensure the optimal performance and longevity of IT assets.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulations regarding IT asset management and documentation.
  • Generate regular reports on asset utilization, inventory levels, procurement status, and compliance metrics for management review.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT asset management, inventory control, or warehouse operations.
  • Strong understanding of IT hardware, software, and networking technologies.
  • Proficiency in asset tracking software, database management tools, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework and IT asset management best practices is preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently in a dynamic environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to Relocate:

  • Seattle, WA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
