What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associates position at F&E Trading?
As a Warehouse Associate, you will work in a distribution center environment where you will receive, unpack, store, distribute and record inventory materials and products used by the company.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare documents such as shipping and picking orders
- Pack, seal, label or affix postage to prepare materials for transport using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter
- Contact carrier representatives to make transport arrangements
- Load and unload trailers, scan merchandise, build pallets and label merchandise
- Stock merchandise and count inventory accurately
- Perform manual, computer or RF functions to enter data in systems
- Operate a pallet jack and other equipment
Job Requirements
- Flexible hours, overtime is sometimes required
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds using proper safety methods
- Physical activity to include standing and walking up to 8 – 12 hours with scheduled breaks
- Computer knowledge is preferred
- Shipping experience with UPS, FedEx, USPS is a plus
