Counter Server

F&F Pizzeria is looking for talented services professionals to join the team!

The Counter Server is a guest facing employee tasked with executing all in-person and online orders during a scheduled shift. You will work closely with the F&F Pizzeria managers to maintain high standards of customer service, keep an organized work station, and work efficiently in a fast paced high intensity environment. You will work alongside and support all F&F team members to execute a successful and smooth service and possess a passion for hospitality, customer service, and pizza.

You will be responsible for:

• Being knowledgeable of our full menu and prepartion, including specials 
• Entering in-person and online orders accurately in the POS
• Processing payment and ensure all guests leave happy
• Working with the team to ensure timely completion of orders
• Assisting to keep work areas clean and well stocked
• Performing opening and closing duties
• Maintaining a positive, outgoing demeanor during service
• Assisting co-workers as needed
• Following all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage

The ideal candidate will have: 

• 1-2 years in a counter service restaurant with opening/closing experience.
• A serious love of good pizza, made with the utmost care
• A patient and friendly attitude with customers, even demanding ones
• Resourcefulness, attention to detail, and a strong sense of organization
• The ability to stand for extended periods of time while working near the heat of pizza oven
• A positive attitude 
• Punctuality, with a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Desire to learn and grow in the culinary field
• Willingness to carry / heavy objects when necessary (up to 30 lbs)
• Familiarity with Toast POS and Caviar / DoorDash is preferred but not required
• Food handlers certificate preferred, but not required
