FX Cassidy & Associates PC is looking for a Staff Tax Accountant to join our growing CPA firm in Bala Cynwyd, PA. The ideal candidate will have prior tax preparation experience and will be able to complete a variety of tax related assignments from return preparation to notice resolution.
Your Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses.
- Advise clients on tax planning and tax minimization strategies.
- Identify tax credits and deductions.
- Stay current on the latest tax laws and regulations.
- Maintain and update the company's tax database.
- Provide assistance with notice and audit responses.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- 2 years of proven experience in tax preparation and compliance.
- CPA certification or willingness/ability to acquire in a timely fashion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks.
- Great work ethic, team player with strong attention to detail.
- Self-starter with an ability to work independently.
- Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize and stay organized in a fast-paced environment with various tax/client deadlines.
- Ability to work weekends/overtime during tax season.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of state tax code and industry specialization.
- Prior experience using Ultra Tax CS and CS Professional Suite applications.
- Experience with complex corporate, partnership and or Estate/Fiduciary income tax return preparation.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
