What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Superintendent position at F?
Assigned Responsibilities:
This is a managerial position and reports to the VP and General Superintendent.
- Oversee day to day supervision of a group of field Superintendents
- Directly responsible to maintain discipline at jobsites. (Has the authority to dismiss FHP field and/or field hourly personnel (such as Temp. Labor or Cleaning Services) not complying with established procedures).
- Responsible for effectively using and assigning FHP labor.
- Work with General Superintendent and VP to identify standards and procedures are within compliance
- Manage enforcement of corporate quality control and safety requirements with project superintendents
- Responsible for insuring superintendents are following company procedures including, but not limited to vacation, company vehicle, gas cards, etc.
- Ensure proper job sequencing
- Manage maintenance of project documentation to include daily reports and jobsite photo’s and report back to General Superintendent, VP and Project Executives, as determined on a project basis.
- Work with project staff to coordinate project plan and develop project schedule
- Coordinate with Managers on assigning superintendents to projects
- Monitors progress of field Superintendents that are being overseen and complete their performance evaluations
- Resolve field conflicts
- Assist in superintendent interviewing and hiring
- Assist in outreach and business development events while providing a good representation of FHP
- Prepare with team for owner interviews, and interview as necessary
- Develop relationships with owner to ensure FHP is considered a support service for clients
- Assist in site supervision during crucial times of the project, team member vacations, etc.
- Supervise projects and attend owners’ meetings, as required by project needs and/or by management’s request
- Other duties as assigned
