The Project Lead performs day-to-day management and planning of overall task order operations, integrating multiple projects and groups of personnel at multiple locations and is the interface with the COR, the Technical Assistant (TA), and Government management personnel. Responsible for program integration, essential management elements of cost, schedule and performance metrics and analysis including the deliberate consideration of the interrelationships among all the elements to optimize cost, schedule, and performance. Direct coordinator for the overall execution of the performance of the contract team. The Task Order Project Leads identifies issues and formulates alternatives for issue resolution.
Project lead should have experience with tactical, strategic, and operational joint warfighting and managing the scope and depth of tasks described in the PWS. Experience with coordinating contract services with the government on matter related to the PWS tasks, funding, and staffing.
Role and Responsibilities- Supervise all program practices to ensure compliance.
- Assist the Program Manager (PM) with oversight of contractor personnel and ensuring that program requirements are met.
- Ensure performance on the overall contract and each PWS requirement, including cost, schedule and staffing meets or exceeds all standards.
- Implement collection processes and tools for performance and service delivery indicators.
- Apply continuous process improvement methodologies to strengthen contractor performance.
- Assist the PM in leading the PMO and will serve as an alternate point of contact to assist in the resolution for contractual issues that may arise during the base and all option years of this contract.
- Shall be capable of effective oral and written communication and shall maintain a complete and thorough knowledge of the Contractor's original proposal, the terms and conditions of this contract and any contract modifications signed or pending signature.
- Remain fully appraised of the status of all tasks through regular meetings or correspondence with the Contractors on-site.
- Assist the PM in oversight of Contractor personnel, promoting operational efficiencies and ensuring activities and resources are aligned to meet contract objectives.

- Minimum 15 years' experience related to military operational experience working with senior General Officer (GO)/Flag Officer (FO)/Senior Executive Service (SES)
