What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Trainer position at F45 Training?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to lead and motivate members through template designed and timed workouts
- Ability to help members set and achieve goals
- Ability to demonstrate all exercise movements, monitor the exercise form of our members and offer educated movement options for members if need be
- Willingness to work events in/outdoors and professionally represent F45 Training and MFG
- Ability to train and develop Coaches working under your direction and supervision for maximum professional progress
- Collaborate with Studio Manager on creative ways to ensure studio and culture success
- Govern success of recurring in studio events such as Transformation Challenge
- Assist in building F45 membership base, and focus on retaining current members
- Ability to work and function in a TEAM environment; Must possess excellent leadership and management skills to create a positive, fun, successful environment for staff and clients
- Superb customer service and interest in community involvement
- Understand in studio technology and devices specific to F45 Training to ensure the safety of participants in regard to heart rate and exercise techniques
- Create content for and engage with studio social media accounts
- Staff evaluations
- Equipment checks
- Planning and execution of team meetings with SM
- Daily low usage, new joins, and trial calls
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 charitable or community volunteer hours within the last 12 months
- Bachelor's degree in an exercise-related field preferred
- Current AED/CPR certification required
- One year minimum experience as a Personal Trainer or teaching groups in the fitness industry required
- Current fitness certification (CPT, group fitness instructor, etc) by an accredited and recognizable organization such as one of the following, required:
- National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA)
- American Council on Exercise (ACE)
- American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)
- Aerobics & Fitness Association of America (AFAA)
- National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM)
- International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA)
- Be able to be on your feet leading and instructing members for the duration of the workouts
- Ability to work mornings, nights, shortened holiday shifts and weekends
- Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
- Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills
- Desire and capacity to train all fitness levels
