What are the responsibilities and job description for the Master Data Steward II position at FAB - FAB - 1010?
Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Marine Data Steward II to join our Marine team in Kennesaw, GA. The Marine Data Steward II will support daily operations by managing the processes for maintaining existing materials and ensuring proper new material setup in SAP ensuring orders have the proper cost, delivery, and export information. This ensures the conditions for successful procurement, scheduling, and delivery of high-quality finished goods.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage and maintain the processes related to the setup and documentation of new marine related materials (parts and accessories) into SAP (MDM and ECC modules).
- Ensure existing materials in the systems are properly categorized and have no missing or incorrect data including, but not limited to, ECCN, HTTS, and Schedule B codes.
- Respond quickly and accurately to inquiries and requests to change materials sales status, categorization, or procurement related settings.
- Create and reproduce regularly scheduled reports in relation to data maintenance activities.
- Support YMUS materials management activities to include Life Cycle management, KPI tracking, and performance reports.
- Properly complete paperwork to establish new suppliers in the system, in collaboration with MBU Concurrent Engineering and Product Development Engineers as well as other departments.
- Documenting YMUS MBU Procurement departmental procedures.
- Support achievement of targets by understanding goals and budgets.
What you will need to be successful:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Accounting, or Business/Finance, preferred with consideration given for equivalent combination of work experience.
- 3-5 years’ experience in parts and accessories (sales or service), units service, and/or data analysis in the Boating or Automotive industries preferred.
- Position will carry out the above listed duties and responsibilities under minimal supervision while adhering to established company policies and industrial quality standard derived procedures.
- Intermediate MS Office Suite Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills with applied experience working in a cross functional team environment
- Intermediate analytical and reporting skills
- Support partnering across multiple levels within the organization
- Occasional domestic travel (less than 10%)
