Job Title: MECHANICAL ASSEMBLY FCI- E Level
Reports to: ASSEMBLY LEADMAN
SUMMARY:
Responsible for performing mechanical and electrical assembly of customer products. To build and handle customer materials with proper care and cleanliness to deliver quality products. Produce and perform functionality tests of assemblies, complete customer test reports and quality documentation as required.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES (Essential duties and responsibilities):
• Have the ability to maintain training, follow company policies and procedures as part of the on-the-job training process.
• Assemble equipment and products using hand tools such as mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and manual types.
• Use of hand tools such as taps to chase threads, rivet-gun and hand drills.
• Follow all written instructions as directed by work order, engineered drawings or customer specifications.
• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineered drawings, specifications and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble, manufacture equipment, and calibrate our products.
• Follow all job specific or shop instructions (can be verbal or written).
• Read and use measuring devices such as micrometers, scales, pressure gauges, torque wrenches, measuring tapes, electric meters (volts, ohms, amps) etc.
• Build and produce quality products at an efficient work pace to meet production schedule.
• Ability to identify production issues or errors and troubleshoot and make corrections or repairs to parts as needed.
• Use safely forklift and carts to move work throughout the work areas and building.
• Use safely forklift and/or jib crane to handle and manipulate heavy items during assembly.
• Work necessary hours to meet customer requirements, including overtime.
• Maintain orderly workstations including toolbox, work bench and surrounding areas.
• Identify product defects of deficiencies and notify supervisor when such items are identified.
• Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this job.
• Clock into work orders and time dependent sequences for collection of product costs
• Issue or maintain or account for inventory for all jobs and projects and corporate needs
• Use ERP software as necessary for support of your job duties
• Wear the required PPE and follow safety guidelines.
• Follow all ISO procedures and guidance requirements
OTHER DUTIES:
• Participate with the organization of warehouse, inventory, production, testing, and assembly areas as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Must demonstrate mechanical aptitude and organizational skills during interview.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Production Hours: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.
DESIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED
Basic computer knowledge.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
