Fabri-Kal Corporation, a leading manufacturer of plastics packaging (lids, cups, containers etc.) for supermarkets, food service, and consumer packaged products is seeking motivated and dependable Team Leader of Logistics & Inventory Control to work in their Hazleton, Pennsylvania Plant. Work is Light Industrial.

Starting Pay for this position is: $51,600 (min) and will be negotiated based on experience.

Seeking a Team Leader of Logistics, Inventory Control with three or more years’ experience in warehouse operations, leadership and management. The Team Leader of Logistics is responsible for the daily activity of Logistics material handlers. They oversee safety and productivity of all material handlers amongst other things like vacation and attendance. Tasked with ensuring the integrity of the raw and finished goods inventory using cycle counts in a multi-site facility and performs other responsibilities as required. Candidates should be proficient in the following areas:

Key Job Accountabilities

• Performance Management: Executes performance management administration, delegation, and discipline. Ensures adherence to FK Human Resources policies and procedures.
• Technical Competency Development: Coordinates and facilitates the proactive closing of any knowledge gap for members assigned to work team.
• Execute Daily Load Plan: Resources the timely and efficient execution of the established daily shipping load plan. Ensures loads are accurate and in compliance with customer specifications. Establishes daily management tools to identify and close gaps to standard system expectations.
• Execute Daily Receipt/Unload Plan: Resources the timely and efficient execution of the receipt / unload plan. Executes required standard work needed to conform with Available to Promise guidelines.
• Inventory Management: Executes standard work by implementing and maintaining inventory control procedures required to maintain inventory accuracy, storage density, and handling efficiency. Ensures established FIFO system guidelines are followed. Establishes daily management tools to identify and close gaps to standard system expectations.
• Print Shop Management: Manages the materials handlers and all supporting function necessary to service the print shop or other on-site operations as required.
• Safe Work Practices: Executes standard work by implementing and maintaining safe work practices required to meet safety objectives. Establish daily management tools to identify and close gaps to standard system expectations.

Skills & Abilities

• Inventory Control and Cycle Counts
• Proven Analytical and Reporting Abilities
• Advanced User of Microsoft Office Suite Products Windows, Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Software (SAP WM Preferred)
• Lean Principles

• Detailed knowledge of OSHA safety and reporting requirements
• Experienced and competent in use of TPM transportation planning software systems. Strong knowledge of negotiation tactics in national TL, LTL and intermodal pricing agreements.
• Warehouse Management and Inventory control strategies

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (Preferred)
• 3 years (preferred) Warehouse Operations experience; Leadership and Management
• Inventory Control experience (Preferred)
