Summary:
To accurately and efficiently cut, tag, assemble, pack, & ship samples to customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pull specified samples from stock
- Layout fabric properly and neatly
- * Cut fabric to correct sample size
- * Serge samples
- Assemble various types of samples
- Tag samples
- Input fabric tags
- Pack & ship samples
- Follow departmental and corporate policies
- Practice good safety and housekeeping procedures
- Use materials and equipment effectively
- Perform other duties as assigned
- *Non-essential duties and responsibilities for purposes of ADA
Qualifications:
- High school education or equivalent plus additional specialized training
- Basic math skills
- Must be able to stand/walk majority of day
- Good organization skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills which work effectively with others
- Knowledge of fabric helpful
