Description
Drapery Tabler
The Tabler is part of the production staff that finalizes sizing for all drapery and make sure finished good are the correct width and length.
- Cut off excess fabric with scissors
- Insert header – type varies per ticket
- Drapery must finish within a ¼” of the finish length per the ticket
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs., read a tape measure, use hand/power tools, and stand for long periods of time
- Aware of different header types and fabrics
- Knows how to read a measuring tape and use scissors.
Qualifications
- Some experience in a manufacturing environment
- 1-2 years' experience as an inspector in a manufacturing environment
- Some sewing experience
- High School Diploma
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to measure and do basic math
- Able to lift 10-30 lbs.
