  • Lead the ideation, business strategy, technical development, market assessment and launch of innovative Facebook products from product definition and planning through production, release and end of life
  • Establish a shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution
  • Identify long-term product marketing and business growth opportunities based on research, analysis and a strategic view of the market
  • Drive product and technology development by creating new business and technology strategies and working with a team of world-class engineers and designers to oversee its execution
  • Provide strategic input on product blueprints, roadmaps, and designs
  • Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction
  • Define and analyze metrics and inform the success of products
  • Manage the product roadmap of web or mobile products to drive Facebook's product development growth
  • Manage projects for product development and contribute to technology strategy related to product strategy, marketing, product position, and product use
  • Understand Facebook's strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are recognized best in the industry
  • Propose ways to improve Facebook products in order to increase revenues
  • Perform market research, develop product roadmaps, and define product offerings
  • Understand Facebook's strategic and competitive position, make recommendations and develop solutions, and deliver products that are recognized best in the industry
  • Define and manage comprehensive goto-market strategy and plan including positioning, policy, launch strategy, and PR
  • Perform data and financial analysis and review business plans for strategic insight
  • Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm
  • Formulate the product roadmap with iterative improvements, justifiable ideas to enhance existing functionality, and introduce new features
  • Develop business strategies for Facebook's products and services
  • Review product specifications and requirements to improve product use and development
  • Identify compelling market problems and industry trends and define unmet and emerging customer needs over years based on market trends and customer behavior



  • Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Logistics, Economics, or related field, followed by five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered or in a business analyst-related occupation. Experience must include 12 months of experience in each of the following:
  • Product management or product design
  • Technical architecture of complex and highly scalable web applications or media products
  • Designing simple and intuitive user interfaces
  • Creating examples through wire frames and mock ups
  • Developing social products, technologies, or platforms
  • Working in a technical environment with a broad, cross functional team
  • Delivering technical presentations
  • Gathering requirements across diverse areas and users, and converting and developing them into a product solution.
  • Analyzing complex, large-scale data sets and making decisions based on data
