Factorial Energy is transforming battery technology to enable safe, scalable, and high-performance cells for electric vehicles. Operating out of its world-class research and development facility in Woburn, MA. Factorial holds a portfolio of solid-state innovations, including its segment-leading FEST™ (Factorial Electrolyte System Technology).
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Serve as a strategic HR advisor for managers and leaders in the company, this will include Plant Leaders, Operations Leaders, Shift Leaders, etc.
- Apply knowledge in employee relations, compensation and people policies in a rule-driven environment
- Address ongoing HR concerns and considerations in a manufacturing environment
- Facilitate HR communications, create a positive company culture and support team growth as the company expands
- Drive engagement, performance management and talent development programs
- Work in strategic partnership with team leaders to do staffing planning and interface with internal/external recruiting resources
- Use technology to track and analyze key HR metrics, plus use data to develop targeted HR strategies
- Work in partnership with the EHS department to ensure safety and compliance standards are being met
- Confidently work through conflict resolution and issues brought up by employees
- Stay current on leading HR trends and deliver practical and insightful thought leadership, including the development and personal growth of people
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (required) preferably in a relevant area, such as organizational development, management, HR, employee/labor relations or equivalent
- 7-10 years of experience in HR (required)
- Experience supporting HR within a manufacturing environment or distribution warehouse (required)
- Experience in a union environment (preferred)
- Experience in some of the following HR processes: hiring, onboarding, training, recruiting, DEI, performance management and talent management (preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to understand business needs and develop strategic/practical solutions, along with sound knowledge of applicable employment laws, regulations and business practices related to HR
- Strong analytical, problem solving, consulting and project management skills
- Outstanding conflict resolution skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Salary : $127,000 - $160,000
