Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and edit programs on 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC mills, primarily utilizing Haas and Doosan machines
- Read and interpret engineering blueprints and GD&T specifications.
- Edit CNC machine code as needed
- Follow and perform routine maintenance on CNC machines
- Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to ensure components meet customer speficiation
- Utilize Proshop ERP system to track job progress and maintain documentation in our paperless environment
- Embrace and utilize automation technologies to streamline manufacturing processes
- Minimum of 2 years of experience setting up 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC mills (experience with Haas and Doosan machines is a plus)
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, geometric dimensions and tolerances, and related technical documents.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages (G-code, M-code)
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Proshop is a plus).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machining issues independently.
- Adept at performing routine maintenance on CNC machines and tools.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on producing high-quality components.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
