Inventory Specialist

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Specialist to join our dynamic team in Irvine, CA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing our inventory processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our stock management. Responsibilities

• Processes requisitions, pulls, and delivers stock items to the requesting departments.
• Receives and delivers special order items to the appropriate departments.
• Conducts weekly inventory of all supplies for ordering purposes.
• Keeps records of inventory at designated times to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Ensures supplies are maintained at optimal levels, continuously improving processes.
• Alerts the buyer and manager in advance about overstock or shortages to manage item usage or replacement.
• Receives and stores all products following regulatory standards, policies, and procedures.
• Oversees the acquisition, storage, flow, and tracking of all products.
• Procures, tracks, maintains, and safeguards supplies.
• Works with customers and supply chain staff to identify the best sources for all products.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Six months to 1-year previous experience, preferably in a hospital.
• Ability to understand and apply effective strategies for increasing overall operational efficiency and cost reduction outcomes with respect to supply chain inventory.
• Identify compliance deficiencies and/or systemic weaknesses and implement timely corrective action to forestall or remedy.
