Malone Staffing is looking for a Production Supervisor that has experience leading a team, using a forklift, and an attention to detail.
Shift Time:
5:30 AM to 4:00 PM Monday thru Thursday (additional 15 to 30 minutes may be necessary in the morning and/or evening). There is a chance that working Friday or Saturday may be required, but this is a rare occasion.
Pay:
$22/hr.

Job Summary:
The Production Cut Supervisor will oversee and manage the cut production employees and ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and quantity standards. This position reports directly to the Production Manager.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Trains and manages KWP production employees located on the cut floor of the facility.
- Oversees the daily workflow and assignments of the entire production cut floor.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations weekly, biannually and on an annual basis in accordance with KWP policy and procedures.
- Ensures each day’s production sheets, for each team member, are accurate and completed properly.
- Set accurate expectations for team members and support them in achieving KWP production expectations.
- Oversees all production cut operations
- Collaborates with the Production Manager regarding daily work schedules to ensure streamlined operations of workflow and productivity in the cut department.
- Competent and flexible with custom change-orders and ensures coordination with assembly/build department.
- Ensures accuracy of incoming lumber and the overall organization of the lumber yard.
- Maintains knowledge of processes and equipment.
- Ensures that products are identified, and warehoused correctly.
- Troubleshoots issues that arise quickly and efficiently
- Notifies management of any equipment problems.
- Ensures that employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Ensures paperwork is completed and signed correctly.
- Performs any and all other related duties as assigned.
- Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production cut operations and machinery.
- Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.

- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Must have a minimum of four months of previous Forklift experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have previous proven managerial and or supervision experience in the manufacturing industry of at least two years.
- Prior exceptional work experience with KWP preferred.
- Must be able to traverse the production facility and the plant grounds
- Must be able to lift 50-plus pounds routinely throughout your schedule.
