Overview:
The Quality Assurance Lead is tasked with upholding the quality standards established by the company. Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Assurance Lead is a key figure in ensuring that all company quality requirements are met consistently.
Responsibilities:
- Read and understand Manufacturing Orders (MO)
- Ensure specifications for all orders is consistent in all paperwork, including components, item and color
- Check imprint art using rulers and calipers to confirm placement, size and alignment
- Check color accuracy against PMS color charts
- Follow specific instructions noted in order notes
- Inspect imprints for cleanliness and dryness, ensuring they are not peeling off
- Review shipping labels and verify the accuracy of quantities, MO numbers
- Ensure all documentation is completed, including the start times and sign-offs.
- Conduct sweat tests as required for certain items.
- Monitor all machines continuously to ensure product quality
- Making sure all inspectors understand the specifications and their responsibilities
- A High School Diploma required, college degree preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy
- Familiarity with quality control standards and manufacturing processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and charts.
- Good communication skills to provide clear guidance to operators
- Experience using MS Office
- Abiliby to communicate in Spanish highly desireable
