If you have certified lead auditor experience, automotive quality management systems certifications such as: IATF 16949, ISO 14001, inspection experience with manual gauges and CMM, and Calypso programming, you may be a good fit and are encouraged to apply.
In this role you would coordinate quality assurance activities related to product quality. This includes product and process auditing and inspection activities, participation on new product teams, customer communications to resolve quality issues, and utilizing leading eight disciplines aka 8D teams through the problem solving and corrective action process.
This role requires working in a manufacturing floor and office environment at ConMet’s Vancouver Machining facility located in Vancouver, WA. General working hours are 7AM-3:30PM Monday to Friday.

- Key Duties:
- Assists production departments in developing processes that prevent defects
- Coordinates with customers and helps manage any customer related concerns
- Creates, maintains, and communicates Quality Documentation.
- Creates, implements, and maintains Process Audits for the production areas
- Conducts and develops Layered Process Audits to ensure ongoing compliance with process controls
- Coordinates lab and inspection functions.
- Assists other departments in problem solving and root cause analysis
- Carries out special assignments from the Quality Manager
- Coordinates quality requirements for new jobs
- Maintain IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001:2015 compliance and support with internal/external audits
- Provides technical assistance to production operations and sales
- Identifies and procures necessary test equipment
- Provides hands on assistance and participation with inspection and data analysis and entry
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree – Engineering or equivalent technical degree
- Two or more years Quality Engineering experience; manufacturing, assembly, and automotive experience a plus
- Calypso programing and work a plus

- Compensation & Benefits
- New hires generally start between $85,000-$95,000.
- The full salary range for the position, across all geographies is $74,000-$142,000 per year. The upper portion of the salary range is typically reserved for existing employees who demonstrate strong performance over time. Starting salary will vary by location, qualifications, and prior experience.
- Targeted annual bonus is based on company performance to objectives during the fiscal plan year which runs from October 1 – September 30.
