Job Description Summary :

Faegre Drinker has an opportunity for an Appeals Coordinator-Property Tax to work with our Construction & Real Estate practice group in our downtown Indianapolis office.

You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to a national property tax practice. This position will work with other talented individuals who share a passion for doing great work in the best interest of our clients.

Job Description : What you would do :

What you would do :

  • Supports our property tax attorneys and other practice group members in preparing, filing and tracking state and local tax property tax appeals.
  • Assists attorneys and consultants by researching assessment and tax bill records, tracking appeal deadlines, preparing and filing appeal forms and any other supporting documents
  • Assisting with appeal reviews, as needed.
  • Other administrative tasks, as assigned.

What is required :

Four-year degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Administration or a related field, and at least two years of related experience.

Additional four years of experience may be substituted for degree.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Some experience in an office setting or related accounting experience preferred
  • Experience working at a professional services organization preferred
