Job Summary:
This position has primary responsibility for the continued maintenance of Fahe’s Single Family Lending compliance needs. Assists in the development and implementation of compliance programs for the division. Assists in the monitoring of business activities for compliance with applicable rules and regulations. Ensures operating manuals and procedural documents stay current when regulations change. Responds to inquiries from regulatory agencies and completes required compliance documentation and reporting. Ensures Fahe maintains good standing with all licensing and investor requirements.
Essential Duties and Functions:
- Represents Fahe in the most positive manner with prospective, former and current Members, clients, suppliers and the community we serve. Interacts effectively with a diverse group of staff and customers of our services.

- Handles confidential information with tact and discretion.
- Communicates necessary updates to all single family lending staff, as well as Brokers and Partners as required.
- Provides training for Fahe single family lending staff, as well as Brokers/Partners, to ensure loan files continue to meet division and industry requirements
- Serves as point person for all internal and external audits conducted on Fahe Single Family Lending division
- Attends various training sessions in order to keep current on needed certifications and education to include NMLS license.
- Remains informed of all government regulations, requirements, and laws for both office and broker submissions.
- Responsible for checking accuracy of calculations for repayment on reviewed files. Must have the ability to analyze both personal and business income.
- Completes Vendor Management requirements for the Single Family Lending division.
- Maintains all JCL Loan Policies, Procedures, and Checklists, updating as necessary based on industry and department changes
- Maintains Change Management forms for all departmental updates as necessary
- Serves as point of contact for compliance matters. Ensures both pre- funding and post- closing/quality control deficiencies are cured
- Keeps JCL staff up to date on process changes necessary to maintain compliance.
- Completes monthly Underwriter Scorecard to ensure all Fahe approved Underwriters are meeting compliance requirements
- Serves as point of contact for all compliance matters involving renewals and audits, including but not limited to HUD, USDA, Investor, Broker, and DFI.
- Provides initial look and suggestive action for all Broker Lite, Standard Broker, and Correspondent Approvals and Renewals
- Completes department reporting to include but not limited to, monthly closed loan report review, MERS, NMLS, HUD, Grant, File storage
- Maintains department training tracker
- Maintains compliance review of Byte systems to include print sets and documents required
- Reviews and provides feedback on all Correspondent purchase requests. Ensures files meet all necessary requirements for purchase by either GSE.

- Knowledge of Federal housing programs, laws and regulations, grant programs, compliance monitoring, and reporting software.
- Time Management skills, ability to work with a diverse group of external and internal contacts at various levels.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Preferred Industry experience, 1-3 years; High school diploma or equivalent, required.
