The Talent Acquisition Partner of Retail will conduct full life-cycle recruitment to support hiring initiatives for Faherty’s owned retail locations in partnership with the retail leadership team. They will also support the development and execution of strategic initiatives including but not limited to diversity & inclusion, talent management, succession planning, and new store openings.



What you’ll do:

  • Develops and manages the strategic, full-cycle talent acquisition process for Retail Leadership positions across the US.
  • Creates and updates job descriptions as necessary to align with company objectives and competencies.
  • Posts open jobs to our careers site, LinkedIn, and other external sites.
  • Source candidates and generate talent pipelines in our ATS as well as passive candidate outreach via LinkedIn and other outlets, tracking contact and online networking with candidates, other relationship-building strategies.
  • Maintain and establish partnerships with national and local organizations to identify talent with D&I top of mind.
  • Schedule candidate interviews by coordinating calendars and working with interviewers to secure appropriate times.
  • Develops an effective partnership with retail leadership teams.
  • Collaborates with management throughout recruitment and selection process, identifies and resolves any obstacles that may arise.
  • Act as the in-house expert on the applicant tracking system to provide guidance and be a resource to others; manage the open positions and close out filled requisitions.
  • Subject matter expert for TA in retail by providing best practices and updates to support the attraction and selection of world class talent in stores (i.e. sharing recruitment metrics, industry updates, etc.).
  • Increases the effectiveness of field succession planning for store management roles.
  • Manages the seasonal hiring strategy and process (high volume).
  • Researches, suggests, and implements diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Responsible for creating recruitment strategies, objectives, and timelines for new store openings to ensure a fully staffed in partnership with the Area and Store Leaders prior to opening.
  • Works closely with Talent team and retail leaders to support local and national training initiatives.
  • Proactively partners with business stakeholders to review practices and procedures, determines whether improvements can be made and work to implement changes as appropriate.
  • Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency and support the delivery of objectives
  • Ensures that we are in compliance with the Company’s policies as well as Federal and State laws.

What you’ll have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business Administration or in a related field
  • 5 years of relevant work experience conducting full life cycle recruiting in a corporate setting, preferably supporting hourly and salaried retail stores or equivalent store management experience in a high touch customer environment
  • Experience using ATS systems
  • Experience utilizing various social channels such as LinkedIn Recruiter and really for sourcing
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/Teams)
  • Attention to detail, with strong organizational, analytic, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrates flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to change in the work environment
  • Ability to work at a fast pace with multiple competing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels
  • Strong time management skills and sense of accountability
  • Responsive to candidate and employee needs while maintaining professionalism, respect, and consideration of others
  • Must be able to maintain high level of confidentiality
  • High level of comfort with ambiguity and working in the “gray”
  • Recognizes the importance of professional relationships and proactively seeks out individuals to complete required tasks
  • Exhibits a natural curiosity of how things are and explores how things could be improved
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Talent Acquisition best practices and principles
