Position Summary:
We are a growing organization with multiple locations in the Mid-Michigan looking for a talented financial bookkeeper to prepare the current financial reports as well as summaries and forecasts for the future business growth. If you have a strong background in corporate financial management and a strong desire to become part of a dynamic team, you may be perfect to fill this position.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Model new equipment purchases
- Lead accounting staff: Accounts Payable, payroll, billing and general ledger. Provide excellent customer service to staff in other departments
- Adopt financial processes that ensure appropriate internal controls, accurate accounting and reporting and efficiency in operation.
- Financial Reporting:
- Monthly financial reporting
- Analytical financial reports as necessary
- Coordinate independent audits and prepare federal and state financial forms
- Create financial projections
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Demonstrated competency in accounting, financial analysis, and external financial compliance
- Supervisory experience with the ability to teach, monitor, and build effective teams
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Excellent computer skills, specifically Excel, and QuickBooks
