Required
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or possession of a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) certificate.
- Three (3) years of progressively more responsible experience in a nonprofessional engineering design or construction field.
- Knowledge of the principles, practices, methods, and equipment of engineering work.
- Knowledge of mathematics and engineering formulas.
- Knowledge of county, state, and federal laws, codes, and regulations.
- Attention to detail skills.
- Ability to understand and interpret construction- and maintenance-related data.
- Ability to apply basic engineering principles.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
