HOTEL OPERATIONS MANAGER
The Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Tacoma Puyallup is seeking a Hotel Operations Manager to join our team. The Hotel Operations Manager is responsible for assisting in maximizing hotel value by achieving revenue growth, expense control, outstanding product quality, guest service and employee satisfaction through overall leadership, guidance and direction of the hotel management team within the framework of company policies and procedures and brand standards. Administers Human Resources and Account Receivable/Account Payable procedures in accordance with company policies, procedures and state and federal laws while promoting a safe, fair, and positive work environment.

SCHEDULE:
- Variable schedule; Must be available weekends and holidays
RATE OF PAY:
- $65,478.40 - $70,478.40 base salary annually/DOE
SUPPLEMENTAL PAY:

QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of:
- Hotel operations and departmental interdependencies.
- Federal and State employment laws and practices.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Skills and Ability to:
- Establish and maintain effective professional, courteous, constructive relationships with guests, staff, and management team.
- Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
- Adapt to constantly changing situations and personalities ensuring quality service to all guests.

- Work varying schedules to reflect business needs of the hotel, including evenings, weekends and holidays and maintain 24-hour availability via cell phone.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of three years to five years of related experience and/or training, preferably in the hospitality industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Light Work: Exerting up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
This work requires the following physical activities: Standing, pulling, grasping, seeing, crouching, lifting, hearing, reaching, pushing, repetitive motions, talking. This work is performed primarily indoors.
