The Fairfield Inn and Suites Columbus Canal Winchester is now hiring for a Guest Services Representative.

Candidates must have a professional appearance with good communication skills as the front desk is the hub for all guest information. The ideal candidate will have a friendly, energetic, and enthusiastic personality with a service mentality.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a candidate with open availability. Shifts will generally be 3:00PM - 11:00PM but other hours may be needed. Hours will be between 32 and 40 hours per week.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with office machines (e.g. fax, printer etc.)
  • Familiarity with basic computer applications
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Customer service focused

Responsibilities:

  • Register & process guests and their assigned rooms
  • Accommodate guest requests
  • Communicating with hotel staff on the status of guest rooms
  • Maintain a clean and neat front desk area
  • Take reservations, answer phones, and general office duties

We are looking for a professional team player who is not afraid to accept extra responsibilities when necessary and can solve issues on their own. Candidate must have reliable transportation, great attendance and punctuality is a MUST.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
