What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance position at Fairfield Inn & Suites?
The Maintenance person primary responsibility is to perform preventative maintenance routines on all physical hotel equipment. Uses equipment documentation, safely and properly use hand and power tools, and selects techniques to maintain all equipment in a high state of cleanliness and operational readiness.

Essential Job Functions:

*Perform all preventive maintenance routines in guest rooms, including functions.
*Perform preventive maintenance routines on all building equipment and systems.
*Select and properly and safely use a wide variety of hand and power tools to complete preventive maintenance tasks.
*Identify the correct preventive maintenance routine for each piece of equipment or system by reviewing the requirements of the documentation.
*Maintain an adequate supply of lubricants, cleaners, and materials to perform all preventive maintenance routines.
*Pick up trash in the parking lot
* Wash up dumpster area to be clean and in order
*Clean pool with chemical and by netting leaves, maintenance chemicals levels in the pool
*Rearrange pool furniture where it belongs
*Spray down the deck
*Check any work orders and work on the work orders.
*Hourly check up with housekeeper for any maintenance work orders.
*Empty all trash from the public areas trash cans
*Daily Carpet cleaning in guest rooms or common public areas.
*On Daily basis check preventive maintenance binder for anything that is due to be fix.
*Ongoing projects, like paint, touch up paint
* Power wash side walks and port of cache on a weekly basis
* Always carried radio
* Perform PM in the meeting rooms like carpet, outlets and painting.
* Daily preventive maintenance of guest rooms, and record in PM binder
* Completely record all maintenance actions and compile and maintain detailed records and files of all routines and all actions performed on all building equipment for each room.
* Perform preventive maintenance in the lobby, touch up paint in furniture
* Perform quarterly PM on the fitness center to ensure everything including machines runs properly.
* Perform other building support tasks as assigned by management.
* Other duties as requested by supervisor.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
