Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Golf Shop Attendant to join our team at Fairlawn Country Club. The ideal candidate will assist customers, handle sales transactions, and maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the shop.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to all members and guests.
- Keep the shop clean and merchandise organized.
- Relay information between members and golf staff.
- Steam, hang, and fold new merchandise.
- Conduct sales through the POS system.
- Answer phone calls for tee time reservations and other customer questions in a professional manner.
- Manage the daily tee sheet effectively.
- Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Provide solutions for customers’ needs, questions and concerns.
- Keep Merchandise Manager and Golf Professionals aware of any concerns as needed.
Skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Strong organizational skills to keep track of inventory and sales
- Retail and/or golf experience preferred
- Professional and enthusiastic attitude
Preferred Schedule
- Weekdays, Weekends required, Flexible hours
Job Type: Seasonal
Pay: $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 24 per week
