Job Description
This Bell person will be responsible for handling guest luggage and performing duties in accordance with Fairmont standards. The bell person will keep curbs clear of cars at the doors, shine the bell carts, shine shoes, post functions on the reader board, deliver newspapers and guest accounts to rooms.
Qualifications
- A valid Drivers License
- Must have open availability.
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
- Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Fairmont Standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and nametag while working.
- Greet guest in a pleasant manner.
- Load and unload carts.
- Escort guests to rooms and explain amenities and safety procedures.
- Check/ store luggage for arrivals and departures.
