Commercial Lending Assistant (Documentation Specialist)

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Lending Assistant to oversee and manage a base of member relationships to ensure clients have appropriate documentation on file for loan approvals. This includes collecting necessary financial data and understanding the past and future performance of the client. This position will be located at our Oviedo administrative office and compensation for the role starts at $24/hr.

What will I be doing in this role?

• Serve as the primary contact for commercial and business clients.
• Review status of current accounts to include, but not limited to, past due payments, tracking of insurance, tracking of maturities/renewals, and interacting with clients.
• Work closely with Commercial and Business Banking Loan Officers and the Portfolio Manager (PM) to ensure satisfactory on-going monitoring of loans to clients and assist with timely collection of financial statements.
• Open and service commercial/business banking client deposit accounts. Including working with the Treasury Management team to coordinate and assure seamless execution of services.
• Identify clients' operational needs and bank products/services to meet those needs.
• Collaborate with Commercial Lenders, Business Bankers, underwriters, and loan administrators to ensure efficient loan operations, processing, and legal documentation for satisfactory closing of loans to clients in a timely manner.
• Work with attorneys and closing department to ensure closing matches loan approval and documentation is correct.
