Job Posting for Assistant Teacher at Faith Academy
Faith Academy is seeking enthusiastic individuals whose goal is to provide excellent childcare for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. The Assistant Teacher will be required to care for children and will participate in the daily educational program, helping them to excercise their bodies and minds.
Duties:
Maintain a spirit of excellence in the facilities, curriculum and staff
Assist the Lead Teacher in classroom management
Follow curriculum and daily schedule
Attend to child's basic needs
Follow proper sanitation protocol
Complete child's daily paperwork
Participate in parent communication
Qualifications:
Physical requirements: must be able to lift up to 35lbs frequently throughout shift
Strong organization and time management skills
Current First Aid/CPR certification - or complete certification within 30 days of hire
Experience in the following a plus: customer service, cashier, retail, receptionist
