The hours of operation are Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Qualifications

· Nursing experience: 2 years experience preferred

· Licensure within good standing

· CPR Certification

· Maintain required continuing education courses

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adapting quickly to new circumstances and juggling multiple tasks

· Must be flexible, energetic, friendly and polite

Responsibilities

· Effective communication and problem solving to ensure safe, quality patient care

· Collaborate with Clinical Officer regarding clinic activities, needs, & opportunities regarding patient care

· Comply with established patient care standards

· Maintain established clinic policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control

· Maintain a clean, orderly & safe environment with infection preventionist & patient safety at the forefront

· Cooperate with personnel to achieve objectives and maintain good employee interdepartmental and public relations

· Greet and escort patients to exam rooms

· Obtain and record vital signs and patient medical information in electronic health record

· Prepare patient rooms for exams via ensuring infection prevention standards for cleanliness

· Assist Provider with procedures

· Complete ordered lab procedures

· Administer IM, Sub Q injections including immunizations

· Maintain Vaccines for Children program & documentation for compliance

· Wound care and suture removal as directed by Provider

· Communicate results of all procedures and tests to Provider

· Discharge patient to receptionist

· Cleans and disinfects exam rooms after use

· Restocks supplies, linens, equipment, and checks for defects and expirations

· Maintains professional growth and development through seminars and educational resources

· Other duties as assigned
