JOB SUMMARY
Faith Promise is looking for a full-time IT Associate to join our team that is passionate about helping Real People with Real Problems find Real Love. You will take responsibility for solving inbound technical issues from our staff and will assist with supporting the organization along with the rest of the IT team. This person loves to solve problems, is passionate about technology, and has a growth mindset to continue to learn. JOB DETAILS
- Monitor helpdesk system for new and existing support requests
- Respond to tickets within 24 hours
- Resolve problems and issues in a professional manner and engage with staff and volunteers to identify additional needs
- Prioritize all new and existing tickets
- Support software used by the church staff such as Ministry Platform and ServiceU
- Create technical and training documentation for Faith Promise staff and volunteers
- Assist the IT Director in configuring and setting up equipment
- Administer user accounts
- Order and stock equipment and supplies when necessary.
BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION
This position is a full-time, exempt role with an expected schedule of 40 hours per week. Benefit offerings include Medical Insurance, Health Savings Account, 403b Retirement, Life Insurance, Dental, Vision, Accident, and Critical Illness coverage. Employees also accrue paid Vacation and PTO time. Compensation is determined based on education and experience.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Work or related experience providing customer service in a technological environment
- Attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of the following:
- Windows 10 operating system.
- Apple macOS operating system
- Apple iOS operating system
- Microsoft Office 365 web and desktop applications.
- Must have strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of a variety of hardware
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP and DNS protocols and services.
- Must be willing to become a Core Member of Faith Promise Church within one year of hire
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Data processing training, computer operations training, or experience in a multi-operation system preferred
- 1-2 Years helpdesk experience
