Summary:

Under the direction of the Director Information Technology this position will support the Faith Regional Health Services sites with daily support for end-user desktop computers, software, and supported peripherals with minimal direct supervision. This position will act as the Supervisor for the service desk and Field Support team, including technology support at offsite locations. A 40-hour work week is standard but must be flexible to irregular work schedules when launching projects and impromptu assignments.

Responsibilities:

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Leads service desk and field support teams in their duties including service requests, work orders, tasks while maintaining a customer service focus, including administrative responsibilities with Information Technology Service Management system. Monitor and audit tickets to ensure user satisfaction.
  • Accomplishes field support staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; monthly rounding, coaching, counseling, and providing input into corrective action to employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintains staff by providing input into recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.
  • Responsible for administrative time keeping functions, timecards, PTO approval, and scheduling.
  • Assists the Director of Information Technology in the creation of specific customer service standards, including response times for on hours, off hours, IT audits, policies and procedures.
  • Assemble hardware and install, update and delete software as required. Troubleshoot hardware issues.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership to develop and maintain successful and high functioning, service minded team in support of Faith Regional's growth. Oversee and identify potential improvements and enhancements on department workflows and processes. Drive internal service review meetings covering performance, service improvements, quality and processes.
  • Recommends technologies strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends. Ability to analyze the functionality of systems and their fit within specifications required.
  • Ability to travel to all remote clinics and campuses to ensure efficiencies are being met and technology is working as designed. Ensures remote clinic and campuses have routine onsite support by coordinating IT schedules and clinic schedules.

Hours will be dependent on patient census and workload. Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, to include after-hours and weekends as necessary.

The requirements listed below must be representative of the knowledge, skills, minimum education, training, licensure, experience, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION:

Associate Degree required.

Bachelor's Degree preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Current, valid driver’s license issued in the state of legal residence required.

Operate FRHS owned vehicles required.

Your own personal smart phone and Faith Regional mobile apps necessary to perform the functions of this position required.

Previous Experience Requirements:

EXPERIENCE:

2 years supporting system security, equivalent education and/or experience required.

Experience with Service Desk Systems required.

Skills/Knowledge Requirements:

SKILLS:

Language Skills – Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language required.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and rapport-building skills required.

Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking required.

Ability to translate an understanding of computer system capabilities to address user process requirements required.

Analytical skills necessary to apply expertise to problems and/or increase operational efficiency with systems required.

KNOWLEDGE:

Technical Management required.

Information Management required.

Computer hardware/software systems required.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint required.
