Location: Centered in Brea, CA but covers areas from Riverside to West Covina to Garden Grove, CA
Schedule: Must have open availability to work days outside of normal schedule as needed. Normal schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Pay Scale: $18.00 to $22.00/hour dependent upon candidates experience.
Job Description:
Our Field Merchandising Supervisor will be responsible for assisting the District Managers in their area of responsibility while overseeing a group of select stores. The Field Merchandising Supervisor will assist with hiring and selection of the team and train, coach, and develop in merchandising concepts, sales techniques, policy and procedures. This position requires having the ability to travel to a variety of stores, assist in hiring and training the team and ensure adherence to all programs and standards set forth by the company.
The Field Merchandising Supervisor will assist the District Managers in exceeding all budgetary objectives by driving sales, reducing shrink, measuring scanning accuracy, and achieving gross profit and labor goals in their locations and region.

Major Responsibilities:
- Work in conjunction with the District Manager to execute business plans to achieve organizational target and goals
- Execute store activities and operations to reach company standards and sales targets
- Coach and develop Multi-Customer Merchandisers to obtain outstanding customer service and selling skills as well as maximum productivity and sales.
- Serve as a liaison between District Manager, customers, and merchandisers.
- Interact with Building Managers and Office Staff to build strong working relationships.
- Provide District Manager with feedback on quality of product and sales trends of locations in their area of responsibility.
- Independently market our special-order service in the community to obtain new business. Track special orders for assigned district.
- The Field Supervisor will routinely work at locations to cover days off, sick days, and vacations.
- Maximize performance and productivity through store scheduling.
Qualifications:
- Two or four-year degree in Business Management or related field.
- Retail and merchandising experience.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Leadership / Management skills including knowledge of scheduling, payroll reports, and sales histories.
- Basic computer skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, e-mail.
- Must have ability to use your own phone and computer.
Essential Functions:
- Must be able to work long and flexible hours.
- Open availability, weekends required.
- The ability to travel between stores using your own transportation.
