Falkon Academy is a robotics STEM program teaching center for kids ages 8 - 16. We do after-school programs. If you are good at Math and Science has some background in programming you will be able to teach. All the training you need for the job will be provided.. Find out more at www.falkonacademy.com

Locations to Teach: Folsom, El Dorado Hills
Jun and July 2024 9am to 12noon or 1pm to 4pm

Also can be extended after summer. From Aug 2024 - 4pm to 7pm on weekdays.

We will be running Summer and Fall and Spring programs at multiple locations, including Folsom and El Dorado Hills.

We will train you to:

Interact with young tech genius kids.
Teach Engineering Research through play.
Design Robots
Code Drones
Success at Robotics Competitions.
Aeronautics - RC Airplanes

• COMPANY DESCRIPTION: Falkon partners with community-based organizations to provide youth the opportunity to enrich their engineering skills by participating in safe, positive and fun programs and camps.
• JOB DESCRIPTION: Falkon participants range from age 8 to 15. Each programs’ coach will work together to prepare and execute a schedule full of fun, skill- based activities for our participants.
• JOB REQUIREMENTS: Falkon is looking for Engineering-oriented individuals who are highly-motivated, energetic people that enjoy working with children. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, High school/varsity level experience and inclination to engineering. Previous exposure to coding is beneficial, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel within the Sacramento area. Staff must be at least 15 years old by first work day or have a valid worker’s permit.
• PROGRAM FORMAT/HOURS: Your working hours is usually

Summer June/July from 9am to 12pm OR 1pm to 4pm.
4pm to 6pm on Weekdays (Monday to Friday) from August to March.
There is some flexibility in hours you like to work.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 10 per week
