What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grade 6 Math Teacher (long-term substitute) position at Falmouth Public Schools?
Falmouth Middle School seeks a long-term substitute teacher for a grade 6 mathematics classroom from January 6- April 3, 2023. We are looking for someone who is a collaborative team player, technologically savvy, and passionate about nurturing the academic, social, and emotional development of middle school students. Falmouth Public Schools are located on a 100-acre district K-12 campus in Falmouth Maine, a coastal community bordering the city of Portland. Our campus features extensive fields, trails, gardens and hoop houses, and rich opportunities for collaboration between schools.
Over the past three years, each of our three schools in the district has been a recipient of the National Blue Ribbon Award: student achievement is exemplary and the community takes great pride in all academic, co-curricular, and athletic accomplishments. Qualifications: Bachelors' degree required.Experience teaching middle school preferred. Maine certification (or eligibility) required.
