Strategic Planning Administrative Assistant
The mission of the Falmouth Service Center (FSC) is to ease stress, reduce hunger and improve the quality of life for our neighbors in need. FSC works to increase self-sufficiency by helping to build networks among clients, neighbors and agencies.
Job Summary
The Strategic Planning Administrative Assistant will provide coordination as well as administrative and clerical support to the FSC Strategic Planning Steering Committee, Strategic Planning Subcommittees, FSC Staff and Board. The Administrative Assistant will report to the Deputy Director. (Role is almost fully remote)
Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support to the Strategic Planning Subcommittees and the Steering Committee.
- Support the work of the FSC leadership team by maintaining and updating the Strategic Planning common time and action platform.
- Gather and input meeting minutes and other project related documents into the document storage system, AirTable.
- Attend and take minutes of Steering Committee and Subcommittee meetings as schedule allows. Meetings will take place over Zoom.
- Schedule and set up Zoom meetings, share sign on information with subcommittee participants, and be prepared to ‘stage manage’ meetings and screen share if needed, etc.
- Produce reports and information required by the Steering Committee, Subcommittees, Staff and Board pertaining to the Strategic Plan Initiative.
- Assume responsibility for collecting, collating, and distributing FSC materials to Subcommittees and Steering Committee.
- Provide ongoing assistance to the Strategic Planning Steering Committee in order to launch the new initiatives. This work to be defined further once Strategic Plan is finalized later in 2022.
- Provide assistance with special projects such as those needed by the Executive Director for the FSC Board and its Committees.
- Work hand in hand with the Deputy Director, the Strategic Planning Staff Point Person
- Provides general administrative support as requested
Requirements
- Proven track record of administrative experience of at least two years.
- High degree of proficiency in Office 365, Microsoft Excel and Word, email, and Zoom
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Project Management experience is preferred
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Willing to learn new systems (e.g. AirTable)
- As we serve a vulnerable population, Covid vaccine is requested

Schedule is Part Time (15-20 hours/week) and has a flexible schedule. Work will be almost fully remote/work from home. Role is for 6 months - 1 year.
