By establishing trust and rapport, you will effectively engage participants in our services and guide them toward lasting solutions. Additionally, you will cultivate enduring relationships with employers and non-profits, creating ongoing volunteer and employment opportunities for our participants. In this role, you will match participants with Work Experience Program (WEP) assignments and employment opportunities based on their FCA, vocational evaluation, TANF work requirements/hours, and need for accommodations. You will aim to help participants secure jobs that align with their interests and skills, with a minimum requirement of 30 hours per week.
Your responsibilities will also include conducting follow-up calls and visits to both nonprofit partners and employers to ensure their satisfaction, address any concerns, and maintain positive relationships. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating recruitment strategies for hiring events, retention events, and on-site employer panels. Working collaboratively with our team, you will host hiring events that strategically match participants with employers that align with their skills and backgrounds. Additionally, you will track working participants to ensure they are meeting their required hours and validate retention benchmarks at 30, 90, and 180 days. All we require is:
- Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience
- Experience working as a placement specialist, preferably in a non-profit environment
