Community Outreach Liaison

We are seeking a full-time Community Liaison to join our team in Palm Beach County. This is a full time salary position. This position will include establishing referral sources, maintaining relationships with patients and families. We are looking for someone who is charismatic, strategic, and motivated to join our team. Weekends required and this position requires employee to be on call. The Representative provides presentations and distribution of marketing materials promoting the facilities treatment programs and services to treatment centers, medical offices and other hospitals. The Representative will establish relationships with potential referral sources, open doors and increase brand awareness through effective interaction. 5-7 years’ experience in communications and marketing required, preferably in behavioral health or other healthcare setting. Experience in psychiatric treatment field highly preferred. A current, valid driver’s license is required for business travel.

Position Summary:

Our Liaison will support Family Center For Recovery in accordance with annual plan and goals. The person in this position will coordinate, schedule, and provide education, training, workshops, demonstrations, and presentations to a variety of audiences. The Business Representative will promote and represent our facility as an exhibitor by attending relevant trade shows, conferences, and regional events. The Community Outreach Representative will seek, establish, and maintain relationships with hospitals, medical business, government agencies, not for profit organizations, and healthcare providers for future outreach and marketing opportunities and strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Educate and promote awareness of our facility about who we are and what we do to members of the public, healthcare facilities including, but not limited to government, private, and non-profit sectors.
• Develop, prepare and deliver presentations and demonstrations in different settings and to a variety of audiences; adjusts content of presentation or demonstration accordingly to environment and audience.
• Initiate, establish and maintain partnerships with public, private, and non-profit sectors for future outreach and marketing opportunities and strategies.
• Serve as exhibitor at trade shows, health expos, conventions, etc. and proactively drive traffic to the Family Center For Recovery table and provide reporting as requested.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred, marketing and or public relations background preferred..
• Strong interpersonal communication skills with ability to adapt or tailor communication style to needs of customer and audience.
• Effective oral, presentation, and written skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation and adequate automobile insurance coverage, as independent travel within assigned territory will be required.
• Experience using Microsoft Office products.
