About us
The Family Center’s culture is one of diversity, inclusiveness and enjoyable collaboration amongst staff. We take pride in being professional, and working to make a meaningful, measurable impact in the community. The Family Center believes that every employee has the potential to make a contribution to the organization, its clients, and our teams.
The Family Center of Washington County’s 5 STARS Early Childhood Program is seeking a nurturing, hardworking, and flexible professional dedicated to working with young children.
The ideal candidate will participate in classroom activities, help teachers with cleaning, organizing and planning, help prep snacks, cover lunch breaks, and be a support to all teachers and children. We offer a beautiful outdoor space and large gardens to children 0-5, with spacious classrooms, a gross-motor room, homemade food, playgroups, outreach programs, and so much more for our community!
If you are wanting to work with young children, while also making a change, then our program is the place for you!
Desired Qualifications: A Northern Lights Level 1 certificate, an associate degree in early childhood education or child development, or experience working in a school/program setting or with young children. While these are desired qualifications, we are willing to train and guide the right person. The candidate must pass a fingerprint and background check and be CPR/First Aid certified upon starting.
