Responsibilities Include
Participate as a team member in the identification of social/behavioral problems.
Design, implement, and follow up on behavioral management programs for students to remediate behavioral and social problems.
Develop and maintain psychosocial and behavioral data on these students.
Plan and confer with the classroom teacher of these students as requested concerning any behavioral, social or personal problems affecting the students.
Assist with in-service activities regarding techniques for remediating behavioral, social or personal problems of students.
Participate in the referral process for students who require further evaluation and/or follow-up services to the appropriate personnel or community agencies.
Specific Requirements
Must have a Bachelor’s in Social Work, Psychology, or related behavioral or human service field Home visiting experience preferred
Knowledge of child development
Knowledge of behavior management principles and techniques
At least 1 year of experience working with children and families.
