What are the responsibilities and job description for the 141 yrd drvr position at Family Dollar?

1st Shift Yard Driver (MON-THURS 6AM - 4 : 30 / 5 : 30 PM and overtime as needed

  • Must perform daily inspections of yard equipment and report all defects in a timely manner.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with other Yard Drivers, Receiving Clerk, etc.
  • Must have demonstrated history of being a Team player, staying on top of personal workload and assisting others.
  • Drivers must ensure units are maintained safely.
  • Ability to adapt to job duty and department changes as required.

Qualified applicants must have an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Report), which will be reviewed annually. Preferable OTR or Yard Driving experience.
