Distribution Center Manager
Family Dollar Maquoketa, IA Distribution Center
We are currently looking for manager positions for our distribution center in Maquoketa, IA. These are salaried positions managing hourly associates. This role would be responsible for managing one or more of the five main DC departments. (Bulk , Shipping, Forklft, Receiving and repack).
Duties:
Plan, direct, organize, control and improve business operations to achieve department and distribution center objectives.
Schedule and appropriately deploy assigned personnel and equipment to achieve performance goals.
Ensure quality, production, and labor standards are met/exceeded by auditing workflow, correcting substandard performance and providing associate feedback as appropriate.
Qualifications:
Supervisory / management experience preferred.
Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills are key, as well as strong planning and organizational skills.
